L.O.V.E

As the summer night's wind blows i call on you
With watering eyes i long for your touch
It's like everlasting life when you kiss my lips
The way you sway me across the room It's hard for me to sleep at night
Without you here holding onto me tight
Each day passes by and i can't seem to get you off my mind
Ilook up at the starlight's gloom The music of love fills the air
As the ocean's wave finds it's rhythm to stare
I ask myself what is love? Is it just lust?
L.O.V.E  what is the meaning of it?
Are we to search, Are we to long for it like scavengers?
The winter arrives as i hibernate into my own world
My body moans for a man, My heart screams for love
Sleepless night's as i think of you
Wondering where have you been all my life
What is the reason for dying to live, if you're just living to die?

Words for thought by Ola

ECSTASE

When you think about this word I truly wonder what came to mind! I know it took me forever to find a new word for my fans, but what can I say. We are teenagers we should know most of the words out there. lol. Well I got a word that every one would enjoy.

ECSTASE- joyful, and happy.

When somebody is asking you how you feel today. Say you very ECSTASE.

Cuz I know I am.

“New word ECSTASE

Love it, use it,  and see peoples reaction.”

What If? by Joshua

What is I could turn back the hands of time.

What if I could heal the sick.

What if I could bring my dead peeps back alive

What if the world was at World Peace

And there was no debt

What if i could change my life

What if I was President.

What If nobody died or got killed

What if everyone could love each other

What if I could know everyone's pain

Now I sit back and thinl-- What If!!

Untitled by Joshua

I sit back and wonder, how do I live in this mess?

I'm in here sittiong, writing, this poem

I wonder if I turn back the hands of time,

Would things be different???

I wonder why I'm not dead yet,

Or in jail, somewhere away from my family

I wonder what the meaning of life is all about

I wonder why I don't cry for people I care about

Or do I really care about them

No I'm here sitting here, writing this poem wondering

WHY!!!!!

My World Was, is, Will be
by Ross Rivera

My world was a troubling full of trife and grief.
It spilled with hate, contagious to every flaw
Was ideal, every one could feel,
everyone wasn't equal,
what were they thinking?

My world is a better place
A Black man's the head of state
Hope I can create
peace once and for all
nothing hard to conquer
maybe it's cause
anything's possible
maybe it's a dream
or maybe an illusion
maybe cause I came to a conclusion
maybe we're equal
maybe there will be a sequel

My World by Eugene Jenkins

My world was always upside down
I wish that it would turn around
My world is now right side up
Unlike back then, it's not that rough
My wrld will be so successful
Now it would be so painful

Poem for Black Folks
by Nicholas Fisher

My world was torn apart by racism, war, protests
No world peace, violence, drugs, sex
no end up in fight and daddy not home

My world is messed up due to the recession
but also happy because my president is Black
My world is hip hop to classic rock
to Far Rock where danger is around

My world will be to graduate High School
And, the first to graduate college in my family
My world will be to be a pro athlete, comedian,
lawyer, and parent as well
One day my world will be to see the Knicks
win a Championship
My will will be-- Who Knows cause times up!

My Shining Star

You're just like the star in the sky
The light in my life
You're the song in my heart
The joy in my ride
I believe you are my angel, the one
Like a dove in the light as it fly
Your voice speaks of courage and bravery
Days go by when i reminisce about my life
The wind takes me away on it's shoulders far away
The night gets dark as the evening says goodnight to all
As we sleep the guardian angel watches over us
Good night to all may God be with us

I live in a world where you have to be your own strength,

Because everybody is trying to pull you down from different directions.

I live in a world where it is hard to trust: because people take what they want and leave.

I live in a world where it is hard to open up, because everybody around you is close minded.

I live in a world where change can never happen because everything around you is a cycle.

I live in a world where nobody can be unique because it is a sin.

A world where everyone thinks their different but yet they are alike.

A world where everyone looks the same, feels the same, walks the same, and talks the same.

I live in a world where people are robots, controlled by “THE MAN”

I live in a world where no one sees the cycle.

A world where nobody moves and everybody stays at a standstill.

A world where nobody can explain but yet they just do.

A world where nobody is your friend and everybody is your enemy.

A world where you must be fake to make a living.
